Use Cases
The same machinery carries more than a children's hunt. Eight occasions OvARlay is built for — from a birthday party to a guided city walk.
Celebrations
🎂Birthday party
Presents or sweets hidden in the garden or the park, and the guests follow with their own phone. The pursuer adds the thrill — nobody has to run to keep up.
🏢Company event
Teams compete against each other and compare points and time afterwards through the multiplayer challenge. You can frame the map from the company grounds yourself — no surveying required.
💍Stag, hen & wedding parties
Stations with photos, voice clues or inside jokes only the initiated will get. The finished map is just a file, sent in a message.
Groups out and about
🏫School & class trips
Let a class discover a place instead of just being told about it: a question about a site's history, a puzzle before the next landmark. Works offline too, which matters where the signal doesn't reach.
⛺Youth camp
On a camp or an outing, a hunt fills a whole afternoon — built from suggestions found nearby, or hidden entirely by hand. Several groups can compete and compare their times at the end.
A place to explore
🏙️City marketing
Instead of a printed walking tour: a route with questions and stops that visitors follow on their own phone. The map can be a real city plan or a drawn version — both work.
🏔️Holiday region
An extra thing to do on a rainy day, or an addition to an existing network of trails. The map works offline, which most holiday regions need anyway.
🏛️Open-air museum & archaeological site
A Roman camp, a monastery garden, an excavation site: anybody holding an old or archaeological plan can let visitors walk about on it. No ordinary map app can do that — it does not know the plan of the time.
